Making Room for Baby

My three year old niece will be a big sister in about a month and a half and to help with the transition I offered to transform their guest room into a big girl room for my niece. Her baby sister will be moving into her room which is already decorated to match the crib bedding and other baby accessories.

The room was basically a blank slate. Once it was cleaned out, the trim was painted white and the walls were painted with Benjamin Moore Grey Lake. I love this color. Its almost white with a touch of blue and grey. I changes in the light and is very soft and soothing.

The room is filled with DIY projects which I will post in the coming weeks. In the mean time I couldn't wait to share the final product.
