Amanda Farnum is a classically trained artist with a background in education. Her work with young people of all abilities motivated her to begin creating her signature name portraits to inspire and teach children in her life. In addition to her name portraits, Amanda has been commissioned to paint children's furniture pieces and murals, and to design custom items for life's special occasions.

In September 2007, Amanda gave birth to her first child, Elliot. After designing and creating bedding, furnishings and a mural for Elliot's nursery,  Amanda decided to add nursery design to Namesake's services. Amanda looks forward to creating unique and inspiring rooms for her smallest clients.
