Seeing Yellow

I'm finding it hard to get into the swing of things. All those long weekends filled with holiday cheer left me a little dazed. I am slowly returning to the real world, and to blogging. This year I am going to try to post three times a week. I like the idea of assigning themes or topics to days of the week (i.e. Thrifty Thursdays). I am still trying to figure plan it all out, and you should see some consistency in the coming months.

Please let me know which posts you like, or could live without, by leaving a comment.

Today I have some really cool thrifty finds to share. Oddly enough they are all yellow and all came from the same store, Value Village.  I only bought one, you can probably guess by the pictures (hint, hint - its the one in my back yard). I wish I had space for all three, especially the metal bentwood style chairs. They were $7 a piece and in great condition. They could have been so cute in my breakfast room, after a coat of red or turquoise spray paint.

This campaign dresser was a steal at $30. It was in great condition and I think the color is original.

The find that made it home with me - this yellow faux bamboo chair.  Its already been painted and soon it will have a new seat. I promise to share the after next week.

Have you scored any great thrifty finds lately? Do tell.
