The weather was too nice this weekend to
work on my office so on Saturday, Beatrice and I set out for the
Silver Spring Farmers Market and the
Fenton Street Market. I am so lucky to be within walking distance of such things. The Fenton Street Market is pretty new and there were only a handful of vendors there on Saturday. Although it is small, there is some cool stuff to be seen. I especially liked two sellers,
Cicale T Designs and
Babus. Cicale T Designs sells unique modern jewelry with a vintage feel. The owner of Babus makes adorable felted toys for babies and toddlers. She uses warm bright colors and ultra soft wool that put store bought toys to shame. I also picked up a market poster that I plan to hang in my office.
At the farmer's market I picked up some fresh mozzarella. I plan to make
insalta caprese using basil and tomatoes from my garden tonight.
I heart summer.

thanks so much for featuring my Babus toys on your wonderful blog--and thanks for stopping by last Saturday. It was a lovely day to be out at the market. Michelle
