There are SOOOOO many baby products out there designed to make parents' lives easier. Many are completely unnecessary and some are so essential that life without them is unfathomable. Such as my sling and Clouds and Stars QuickZip sheets. If you haven't ever changed a traditional crib sheet, let me assure that it is not an easy task. Because the sheets are designed to be ultra snug and secure, you basically have to take the mattress out of the crib to change the sheet
Enter the QuickZip sheet. It zips on, it zips off. It keeps baby safe and it makes Mommy's life easier. Only one tiny downside, sometimes the traditional crib sheet basically ties the whole nursery decor together like mine does. Since Pottery Barn hasn't gotten with the program and partnered with Clouds and Stars, I was stuck. Don't get me wrong, Clouds and Stars has lots of great color options, but I really wanted to use my brown polka dotted sheets.
So how did I get the best of both worlds, style and function? I simply put the traditional sheet on the mattress upside down, so that it wraps around the zipper sheet base. The edges of the traditional sheet are hidden by the bumper and don't cover up the zipper, making for very easy sheet changes.
Want your own QucikZip sheets? Clouds and Stars has generously sponsored the giveaway of a QuickZip crib starter set and mattress pad. Enter to win by writing QuickZip and the one item or product that you simply can't live without (it doesn't have to be baby related) in the comments of this post by 5 PM EST on Friday June 25th.
Oh and yes, as you can see my crib bedding finally arrived! I promise to post a big nursery reveal soon.
